The development of this web site has been entirely self-funded, without the aid of any grants etc. However, the rising costs of doing the research, travelling to libraries and archives, tracking down and photographing buildings across the British Isles, acquiring vintage pictures, and putting it all together online, all get increasingly more difficult to bear.
